We do a lot of behind the scenes work, convening members of the community, and working together to address issues and barriers for families living and working on Aquidneck Island.

Reading Reaps Rewards
Reading Reaps Rewards aims to combat learning loss in the summer months by engaging kids at camps and day programs with fun activities and learning around math and reading.
Newport Partnership has supported this initiative for 25 years, and continues to act as an evaluator and data analysis for these programs.

Save Newport Hospital Birthing Center
NPFF is a proud member of Coalition for Newport Birthing Center. We have been successful in securing the future of the Birthing Center, including the inclusion of funding for Newport Hospital Birthing Center in the RI State Budget.
Monthly Membership Meetings
NPFF hosts monthly meetings for members of the partnership to learn about other resources and agencies in the community, as well as support each other in events and areas of concern.
Trainings for Results
We offer a wide range of trainings in the fall through spring to better support members in their professional development. Our goal is to meet the needs of our members and we are always open to feedback on trainings.
Topics include: Mental Health First Aid, Trauma Informed Care, De-Escalation, and more from a variety of engaging trainings.
