Who We Are
The Newport Partnership for Families is about people working together to promote the health and well-being of everyone in Newport County. NPFF serves residents, the non-profit sector, and social change makers.
What We Do
Connect People and Services
Solve Social Challenges
Convene Social Impact Leaders
Share Best Practices
We focus on sharing information and knowledge among our members, identifying core issues impacting the most vulnerable residents in our communities and developing collaborations to provide solutions. Our nonprofit members also share strategies, practices, resources, and tools, across boundaries of fields of practice, and budget size all in service of our shared community.
Our 2026 Priorities
Early Education / Out of School Time
1
NPFF is organizing partners to focus on systemic change with an emphasis on the intersections of workforce development and early childhood education and out-of-school time programs.
Housing
2
NPFF will convene partners to respond to the housing affordability crisis and major disruptions in housing funding and programs, identifying opportunities for local impact and aligning efforts with broader statewide initiatives
Maintain Maternal Healthcare At Newport Hospital
3
The Partnership joins a coalition of community members working to save the Newport Birthing Center.
Across all of this work, equity remains our throughline.
Financial security and workforce development connect our issue areas, and our approach continues to focus on systemic change while supporting the vital work of our member organizations.
